De Rota Vicentina sluit aan op de Grande Randon\u00e9e. De Rota Vicentina bestaat uit twee delen: er is de 230 km lange historische route, die van Santiago do Cac\u00e9m naar Cabo de S\u00e3o Vicente loopt. Het is een in ere hersteld eeuwenoud pelgrimspad van Lissabon naar Cabo de S\u00e3o Vicente. Daar zou zich het oorspronkelijke graf bevinden van Sint Vincentius, patroonheilige van Lissabon.<\/p>\n<p>Vissersroute<\/p>\n<p>Daarnaast is er de 100 km lange vissersroute, de Trilho dos Pescadores, die de kustlijn van de Atlantische Oceaan volgt. De vissersroute loopt van Porto Covo via Vila Nova de Milfontes, Zambujeira do Mar, Odeceixe en Aljezur naar Sagres, het meest zuidelijke puntje van Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rotavicentina.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">De historische route en de vissersroute<\/a> lopen voor een heel groot deel door de overweldigende natuur van de Alentejo en zijn beide vanaf Monte do Casar\u00e3o makkelijk te bereiken. De routes zijn onderverdeeld in 21 trajecten en de documentatie is uitstekend. Van elk traject hebben we op Monte do Casar\u00e3o wandelkaarten en gedetailleerde beschrijvingen.
