COLHEITA\u00a0DE CORTI\u00c7A<\/span><\/h2>\n

Embora o Monte do Casar\u00e3o anteriormente tenha sido uma planta\u00e7\u00e3o de eucalipto, h\u00e1 bastantes sobreiros. Uma vez por dez anos (verifica-se mediante os c\u00edrculos de anos se os dez anos de facto passaram) a corti\u00e7a pode ser tirado do sobreiro.<\/p>\n

No Monte do Casar\u00e3o, o trabalho foi realizado por 7 pessoas: quatro cortadores (o conhecimento \u00e9 passado de pai ao filho), dois carregadores e um rapaz que pintou os 8-tes (de 2018) nas \u00e1rvores nuas. A corti\u00e7a foi tirada num s\u00e1bado e na segunda-feira foi tudo juntado em frente do Casar\u00e3o Velho. Depois da corti\u00e7a<\/a> ter secado por quatro semanas, tudo foi pesado e vendido.<\/p>\n

Esta nossa primeira colheita chegou \u00e0s 124 arrobas (uma arroba \u00e9 aproximadamente 15 quilos). Porque s\u00f3 foi tirada a corti\u00e7a de um ter\u00e7o dos sobreiros podemos esperar fazer uma colheita semelhante em cada tr\u00eas anos.<\/p>\n

Uma anedota engra\u00e7ada \u00e9 que para poder tirar a corti\u00e7a foi necess\u00e1rio fazer um caminho no vale atr\u00e1s da Casa Boa. A rua foi feita uns dias antes dos cortadores come\u00e7arem o seu trabalho. Foi um grande choque para n\u00f3s!
