Casa Basta
Casa Basta sleeps 8 people. In comparison to the other cottages, Casa Basta is the highest cottage, overlooking Casarão Velho.
It contains a very spacious living room with a wood-burning hearth /central heating. The open-plan kitchen has been fitted with a fridge, dishwasher and oven. The French windows in the living room open out onto the large terrace with outdoor kitchen and sink. One of the couches in the living room doubles as a sofa bed. All windows and doors are been fitted with insect screens.
There are three bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom, containing a wash basin, toilet and shower. Casa Basta also boasts a spacious bathroom fitted with two wash basins, a bath, a separate shower, bidet and toilet.

PLAN
Twice a year- once in spring and once in autumn - Monte do Casarão organizes a painting week. The course is for beginners and advanced students. You can paint or sketch using any technique and any materials you like.s.

October. The grapes have been picked, stripped of their stems and leaves, and placed in barrels. The harvest (especially of white grapes) is not as large as last year, but still good for about 100 bottles. We will be able to enjoy it again soon. Winemaker Wynand's wine is delicious!
