Casa Boa
Casa Boa (T2) sleeps max. 6 people. It contains a large living room, an open-plan kitchen with a fridge and an oven, a wood-burning hearth /central heating, two bedrooms, a spacious bathroom richly appointed with a bath, double basin, shower, toilet and bidet, and a large terrace with an outdoor kitchen and sink. One of the couches in the living room can be used as a sofa bed. French windows connect the living room to the terrace. All windows and doors are been fitted with insect screens.
This luxurious holiday villa has a ‘crow’s nest position’ at the estate, overlooking the Monchique mountains and the access to the estate.

PLAN
Twice a year – once in spring and once in autumn – Monte do Casarão organises a painting week. The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students. You can paint or draw using any technique and any materials you like.

January. It has been raining almost continuously since November. It was much needed. All the reservoirs are full and nature is thriving. The medronho is in full bloom and all kinds of mushrooms are sprouting from the ground. This includes the trompette de la mort, or horn of plenty, in English. Although you wouldn't immediately guess it from its French name, it's a delicious mushroom. Really.
