MAY

May. Portugal is doing well. For months, the country suffered a severe lockdown. From more than 10,000 infections a day, it managed to reduce the number to about 160 a day. Terraces, museums and schools are open again. Fortunately, the travel advice of the Dutch government has been adjusted. After a stay in Portugal, you do not have to go into quarantine. There is also no longer a test requirement if you return to the Netherlands.
The other way round, you will still need to take a test: from the Netherlands to Portugal. Understandable, of course, given the figures in the Netherlands.
