Casa Marcanta
Casa Marcanta (T2) sleeps max. 6 people. It contains a large living room, an open-plan kitchen with a fridge and an oven, a wood-burning hearth /central heating, two bedrooms, a spacious and sumptuous bathroom fitted with a bath, double basin, shower, toilet and bidet, and a large terrace with an outdoor kitchen and sink. French windows connect the living room to the terrace. One of the couches in the living room is a sofa bed. All windows and doors are been fitted with insect screens.
This cottage takes up a central position at the estate. According to some it has the best view of all.

PLAN
Twice a year – once in spring and once in autumn – Monte do Casarão organises a painting week. The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students. You can paint or draw using any technique and any materials you like.

July: There are countless little beaches along the Alentejo coast. Each one is just as beautiful and unique as the next. They are therefore well worth a visit.
In the municipality of Odemira, many beaches have once again been awarded the Blue Flag, a guarantee of water quality, nature conservation and sustainable tourism. Malhão, Farol, Furnas, Almograve, Zambujeira do Mar, Alteirinhos, Carvalhal: if you’ve stayed with us at Monte do Casarão, you’re bound to be familiar with them.
