Casa Marcanta
Casa Marcanta (T2) sleeps max. 6 people. It contains a large living room, an open-plan kitchen with a fridge and an oven, a wood-burning hearth /central heating, two bedrooms, a spacious and sumptuous bathroom fitted with a bath, double basin, shower, toilet and bidet, and a large terrace with an outdoor kitchen and sink. French windows connect the living room to the terrace. One of the couches in the living room is a sofa bed. All windows and doors are been fitted with insect screens.
This cottage takes up a central position at the estate. According to some it has the best view of all.

Twice a year- once in spring and once in autumn - Monte do Casarão organizes a painting week. The course is for beginners and advanced students. You can paint or sketch using any technique and any materials you like.s.

November. The temperature differences between day and night are increasing. This means fog in the morning, which quickly clears up. It makes for beautiful pictures. That's for sure.
