We have returned safely to the UK and are now back at work dreaming of those Alentejo hills, the dry hot sun and the complete tranquillity of Monte do Casarão. Many thanks to all 4 of you for an excellent 2 week holiday - we could so easily have just stayed put for the rest of the summer. Lies - a special thank you for giving up your house. We really appreciated the opportunity to stay those extra 4 days. Monte do Casarão offers an idyllic and perfect package of very comfortable, clean accommodation set amidst panoramic views in all directions - managed by the most hospitable of hosts. We are proud to have been your first English/Irish visitors. The first of what we are sure will be many more....and if not then we definitely will be returning to be the second as well!
